A former software process analyst, I'm married to Mark and a stay-at-home mom to four-year-old Liam and two-year-old Olivia. I am a transplanted Canadian who is now living in Denver, Colorado. I knit constantly, I read a lot, and occasionally discover and usually abandon new obsessions.

What's noteworthy lately is that both of my parents died within a few months of each other in 2007: my mother of Brain Cancer in February and my father of ALS in June. How my family and I cope with this is an reoccurring theme.
