I am thoroughly unprepared for my weekend.
I'm playing poker tomorrow night and, other than a vague memory of "playing" as a kid, I have no idea what I'm doing. So I'm doing the best I can to read this book even though the kids are awake. Guess how well that's going (I'm hoping to open it soon).
If I last past the first hand I'll be thoroughly surprised.
At the same time, I'm knitting frantically away at this:
It's another Breast Cancer Awareness Scarf in Classic Elite Wool Bam Boo. Lovely silky stuff. Anyway, the Komen Race for the Cure is on Sunday and I'm walking it again, hopefully with a pink scarf this time (no Fun Fur!). The scarf is done in two halves that are grafted in the middle, and this is my second half, but I'm still really pushing it; it needs to be blocking before we go to the poker game. Seeing as I already made and gifted another one to my annual walking partner, Lisa, it would be really dumb if I didn't have my own. (Dumb, but probably not all that surprising to those who know how well I knit to deadlines).
Oh. And I still need to find those running shoes.
{{sigh}}
Well, take your knitting and when you fold, you can pick that up and get it done?
Sounds like fun and a good weekend.

I love my scarf and can't wait to wear it on Sunday! (unfortunately I think we will need it for warmth and not just for the pink of it all). See you Sunday!

Poker? Really? Good luck with that, at least it will be a good laugh. :)
Knit. faster. You can do it!

Can't help you with the poker! Good luck!
I keep meaning to make one of those scarves, and I missed out on joining a team for the Run this weekend too. Run twice as hard for me, would ya? :)
