My god...why do I keep forgetting about the hats?! *sigh* I think there is something wrong with me....

I would have cried too. You did good. I, too, assume that the hospitals get tons of knitted items. Maybe it's time I organize a little sumpin' sumpin' here amongst my knitting peeps. You've inspired me.

Beth

What a wonderful thing. As the recipient of hand-knit and hand-crafted items (blankets for each of my girls when they were in the NICU and pedeatrics unit) I can tell you that these things mean at least as much to the recipients as they do to the people who donated them. Thankfully my daughters were only there for a short time, but the love and generosity of others made those short stays easier. Thanks. Your work is inspirational!

Holly Jo

Wow. What an amazing thing you organized. I like how the whole family went. ;)

Awesome. Just ... awesome. (In the traditional sense, not the totally tubular sense.) I'm all teary and guilty because I haven't even started mine yet ...

I understand your emotion. We are all inspired to act on out best impulses as we read of what you and others did on this project.
I love the dandelion in the carpet. Charm where you least expect it.
